Michael Clonts has practiced family law for a decade, but his passion is mediation. Mediation brings about more satisfying results for the participants because they help craft the solution to complex problems. This cuts down on the emotional and financial pressures that accompany family law proceedings.

He earned his law degree from Syracuse University College of Law. A native of Arizona, Michael returned to the Phoenix area after one too many New York winters. His multi-faceted legal background includes hands-on experience in adoption clinics, conducting research for the United Nations, and assisting international contractors with policy development. He also broadened his perspective by traveling to South Africa to learn more about their legal system during its democratic transition. When he gets some free time, Michael enjoys quality time with his wife and six children, camping in the mountains and binge-watching TV shows.
